Designed with the team’s clinical scientists, the Symptom Statistics feature helps women understand how their symptoms change over time. The app became a prescribable digital therapeutic in 2026.
Half of the patients stopped using the app after 8 weeks, while the clinical study required at least 3 months of use. I redesigned the goals, the content and the onboarding for women aged 50 to 75 who were often fatigued. Retention rose by 30%, the study succeeded and the app is now permanently listed as a DiGA.
Families looking for someone they could trust felt misled by deceptive information and a hidden paywall. I reorganised the profiles around parents’ needs and removed the deceptive patterns. Result: +18% premium upgrades, +24% profile views, and 67% fewer messages sent by mistake.
To use PINK! Coach, breast cancer patients had to get a prescription, have it accepted by their health insurer, then enter an activation code. Many got lost along the way, without the team being able to measure it. I reduced four journeys, depending on the type of insurance, to six guided steps in the app, and designed a service where the customer team handles the insurer paperwork on their behalf. In user testing, the journey proved easier to follow, and most participants trusted PINK! with their data.
